Greenscreenbox

How can you use the Greenscreenbox

The Greenscreenbox is a versatile product that can be used in education and ‘just for fun’. It is a tool that inspires you to create your own greenscreen videos with great ease. Greenscreen technology is also known as chroma key compositing or chroma keying. This is a post-production technique that composites two images or videos together based on color hues. An app or software replaces a specific color range (in our case: green) in the foreground image (the recording) by an image or video that you choose. In this way, you can do all kinds of nifty tricks in photos or videos. Simply open the greenscreen app on your tablet or phone, choose a background, switch the camera on, and you can start recording greenscreen videos.

With help of the Toolblox (a set of green blocks and strips), you can move or hide objects inside the Greenscreenbox, without your hands in view. In this way, you can do cool greenscreen tricks. For instance, you can make objects move behind other objects or make them appear or disappear. Using the clear, step-by-step instructions and projects, you will know exactly what to do and how to do it. Even people who are less computer literate can use this and will be making greenscreen videos in no time.

We explain exactly how you use the Greenscreenbox in our detailed instructions and educational projects. You can find these at downloads.
